Rock Out With Your Block Out: Downtown Crossing Party TONIGHT!

Well, people, it is officially Thirsty Thursday. (Which is one day past the dreaded Hump Day and one day closer to the hallowed TGIF, so you know it's worth celebrating.) So what are you going do about it? We plan on heading down to tonight's Downtown Crossing Summer Block Party where we're going to guzzle ice cold Budweisers ('never fill you up, never let you down') like the rest of this almost played out work week depends on it. If we're feeling fancy (which, hey, sometimes we just do) we might indulge in some vino from Casilliero del Diablo vinyeards. Only 5 bucks a glass...a steal by an oenophile's standards. Staying sober in preparation for the weekend? Never fear, they've got your kind hooked up as well. Nantucket Nectars will be on hand, passing out free samples (and maybe whole bottles, who knows?) of their beverages.

As if cheap booze wasn't reason enough to make your way over, Boston natives In Like Lions will be there, rocking out all evening to provide the tunes for this summer fest. Performers from Cirque du Soleil will have stilt-walkers (!) mixing and mingling with the revelers (god, just don't let there be clowns) and one lucky SOB will win a pair of tickets to see their show. The Knot will be repping there as well, so all you preppies/boaters/fans of tiny sea creatures stitched onto your clothing can score some new digs. Max + Dylans will be there serving free food for when you work up an appetite 9 you will.)  See you at there.
