Think all great food events are held at restaurants? Think again. Programs in Food and Wine at Boston University (808 Comm Ave, Boston) has two culinary events worth checking out this week. On February 15, best-selling cookbook author Barbara Kafka presents “Vegetable Love,” an evening of demonstrations and recipes from her latest book of the same name. A $70 fee includes food, wine, and a signed copy of the book. On February 16, Nina Simonds will demonstrate recipes from her most recent cookbook, Spices of Life; wine and a copy of the book will also be included in the $70 fee. Both events run from 6 to 8 pm; call 617.353.9852 to register.
