Who says you have to wait until Valentine’s Day to get your chocolate fix? On February 9, head to Whole Foods Market (15 Westland Avenue, Boston) for Chocolate Fest 2006, featuring chef and author Andy Husbands of Tremont 627, Rouge, and Sister Sorel. Along with Husbands’s chocolate-passion-fruit soup, the event will feature experts from chocolatiers including Valrhona and Knipschidt, as well as a variety of chocolate candies, pastries, and virgin cocktails. Roses, bath salts, massage oils, and more round out the offerings. The event runs from 5 to 8 pm. Call 617.375.1010 for information.
