It seems like out-of-wedlock pregnancy was the hottest trend of 2007! The latest knocked-up celebrities include Jessica Alba, Lily Allen, and, now, 16-year-old Jamie Lynn Spears. Who do you predict will be next?
Janet Jackson. I’ll get to her.

According to a new CNN poll, Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton are neck-and-neck in the Iowa primaries. What would be the ultimate tie-breaker?
My neighborhood. The projects. Give them a pair of boxing gloves and let ’em duke it out.

Every year at Christmas I have too much wine, and I start screaming about what an asshole my uncle is. Who are you most likely to have an awkward dinnertime fight with this holiday season?
My son, over my porn. He doesn’t know how to put it back.

And finally, what’s your real New Year’s resolution? None of this “I resolve to be a better person” crap. What do you really want to accomplish in 2008?
Get Janet Jackson pregnant.

  •   NORTHERN EXPOSURE  |  July 29, 2009
While New York is grittier, Los Angeles juicier, and Boston is wicked smahter, for some odd reason it is Montreal that, for two weeks every summer, becomes the epicenter of the comedy universe.

  •   BEAT THE TWEET  |  July 22, 2009
Warm weather is supposed to be accessorized by lackaday, by a breezy sensibility best enjoyed with a frosty tall boy in one hand, the sloppy product of a back-yard barbecue in the other. Instead, I find myself struggling to balance my beer between my knees and my overstocked paper plate on my thigh as I furiously poke at my BlackBerry.
  •   INTERVIEW: KRISTEN SCHAAL  |  June 24, 2009
Writing a book about romance with her boyfriend, Schaal says, "is kind of killing our romance a little bit, because you stay up late to write the book, and then you're too tired to get it on."
