Q&A #6: Tisei-Tierney?

Do you see Richard Tisei challenging Rep. John Tierney in the 6th District in 2012? If so, do you think he has a chance at a win? He's well liked and certainly less controversial than Hudak was.

Tisei v. Tierney would be awfully confusing to write about - I'd prefer candidates with fewer similar letters in their names.

I think he'll take a very close look at it, but it's too early to tell. Leaving aside the big questions about redistricting and whether Tierney will run again; you also have to wonder what other Republicans will run -- and, depending on the answer, how ugly it could get for a relatively moderate, openly gay, generally nice, reasonable guy in that primary.
