[oh montreal!] Osheaga Festival in August is pretty fucking rad

Not that we had any excuse to make the four-hour drive up north to the great city of Montreal in the middle of the summer -- last time I made the pilgrimage was many moons ago to see Vladimir Guerrero don Expo pinstripes -- but hot damn this OSHEAGA FESTIVAL MUSIQUE ET ARTS lineup is incredible.

M83 + JUSTICE in Montreal? Yes, please. The triumphant return of BLOC PARTY? Definitely. Reminding PASSION PIT in French that they are still a "Boston band" regardless of where on the planet they all live now? For sure. Sweet mary, look at that beast of a lineup.  

Got to imagine there will be a strong New England presence up here, seeing as it's much closer than all the other major summer festivals (Bonnaroo, Pitchfork, Lolla). Just don't expect to see Zdeno Chara in the crowd, or people walking around in Canadiens 2012 Stanley Cup Champions t-shirts. Hell, by then you just might be seeing Nail Yakupov Habs jerseys...
