Hilltop is for sale...
...And the brochure makes it sound like an enticing purchase.
The recently moved and renovated coffee shop is going for $450,000, according to Benchmark Residential & Investment Real Estate literature available online and at the establishment. Hilltop, which is apparently licensed as a sit-down restaurant, moved to its 88 Congress Street location in March of last year. The Rosemont-Hilltop building is a regular stop for many East-Enders.
We want to know who's interested.
UPDATE: Just spoke with Tom Landry, the realtor at Benchmark managing this sale. He says there's a been a lot of interest in the two weeks that the property's been on the market, including from professionals outside of the restaurant industry. One party, he says, is doing due diligence right now and he hopes they'll put in an offer in the next few weeks. He stressed again that the space is fully licensed to be a restaurant...Is that a hint of what's next for Hilltop -- coffee shop by day, food/beverage establishment by night?
