Leesa never walks quietly. As a 23-year-old singer-songwriter this young talent is no verteran to the scene, but never fear she knows what it means to kick ass.Her songs drift and wander, but never stray far from thought-provoking vocal and musical improvisations everyone has come to expect from her. She has been compared to Beth Orton, Chan Marshall of Cat Power and Joni Mitchell. She has rocked rooms such as The Milkyway, The Paradise Lounge, The Abby Lounge and Club Passim. She also hosts an open mic once a month in Billerica at Java Jane's. The only person ever claiming to not like her songs was her brother when she was practicing at 3a.m. and he had school the next day...but who cares about his opinion anyway?
