MORE ABOUT THE OPERATORS
Since September 1998, the Operators have been working 'round the clock to bring high-quality, lo-fidelity, mid-tempo indie pop to the greater Boston region and beyond. Originally a trio, the group became a foursome with the addition of guitarist/drummer/bottle thrower Stephanie Melikian in 1999.
Since then, Steph, guitarist Emily Arkin, drummer Paul Coleman and bassist Jen Godfrey have co-founded the Handstand Command musical collective, released their first 7" EP, performed around the Northeast, and went to the Ladyfest and took notes. A full-length CD is in the works for early 2001.
