Kstreet wasn't born with a microphone in his hand, nor with a God-given ability to ride a beat. But by first being a fan, and in many senses, a student of hip hop, DC FAM rapper Kstreet takes a different, more calculated approach to music. When you witness his evolution as an artist, one can declare that the best is yet to come.
Growing up in a single parent home on the outskirts of Boston, MA he was into sports at a young age and did well in school, making the honor roll. It was, in fact, in high school, where he took to rap. He would see best friend and fellow DC Fam member Real Wil performing in battles in the hallways between classes and fell in love with the art of performance and the wit of great rap. Real Wil, who by then had begun forming the group, sensed Kstreet's passion and took him under his wing, teaching him the ins and outs of the verses, bars, hooks and rhyme schemes... Kstreet was a quick study and soon crafted his own style. Now, he has his sights on carving out his own space among rap's elite with brilliant word plays wrapped around a dynamic flow. As one-third of the group DC fam, kstreet brings a blazing wit, a thirst for knowledge and love for good music. Kstreet detests being a part of anything that is not spectacular; call it SUEDE.
