Biography THE OLD PIRATES Trio.
John Snyder, Keyboardist, is a classically trained musician whose lifelong goal has been to play piano in a whorehouse. When he puts on his bowler, vest & bowtie, adds a chomping big old cigar and a glass of Maker's Mark, he's ready to play ragtime till the cows come home!
Dan Loan, Guitarist, studied guitar and composition at Berklee School of Music, and has over 30 years playing experience ranging from jazz and rock to musical theatre and gospel. He has had the opportunity to play with great musicians from several top contemporary groups.
Charleen Crowley, Vocalist, says: "Growing up in a musical family, I learned at an early age how to sing and was cast in many plays in elementary school. In 5th grade I auditioned for the school chorus and was not selected because I was considered "too loud". In 1981 my family & I sang together in a charity Variety Show to raise money for the Leukemia fund.
"I joined a professional DJ company in 1993 entertaining a wide variety of ages with singing and dancing. In 2001 I moved to FL and joined 2 working bands. As a cop, I would sing loudly in my patrol car and even while directing traffic. Singing to me is like breathing, I can't live without it."
