Independent MC on the underground scene for over six years. This social activist mixes his message of global liberation and freedom with the angst and fury first reflected in the street flow of early hip hop legends KRS-One and Rakim. Phoenyx, the brain child behind The Phyx Movement, released his first solo EP entitled "Happy Music" on 4.20.09. His next project, a mixtape entitled "For Promo Use Only; Not 4 Sale" and featured some of his most personal works and includes classic material from MF Doom and 9th Wonder. Winter 2010 Phoenyx unleashed "Phantasy Land," an artistic take on a typical street mixtape featuring local MCs and prodcuers such as Durty Durdie, Inphynit, J De Pina...The Phyx enters the world of hip hop with his debut release "An Armed Response" due out in 2011
