MORE ABOUT RAY COOKE
Ray Cooke sings with deep passion and gorgeous vocals when he performs his original songs inspired by life experiences and love. A native Rhode Islander who now resides in Foster, Ray began writing in his teens and completed his first song, Lonely Gerl, at the age of 18. He's been honing and refining his acoustic music ever since. His first 2 CD's, Chasin' the Bliss, and Closer have been well received locally and showcases Ray's strong vocals and haunting lyrics. Performing around the New England area for the past twenty years and he has an amazing stage presence making it easy to get lost in his lyrics. Ray has been compared to Cat Stevens and James Taylor. In 2009 He won the Motif's Magazine award for Best Male Vocalists of the year. As a Singer song writer its his original melodies that make him a unique talent. He is a member of the Rhode Island Songwriters Association in Providence RI. Ray also volunteers every year to play at "Relay for Life" a charity close to his heart.
