In 2010 an artist can no longer survive with just good music, he must be consistent and finds way to stick out from the growing number of acts looking for a break into the industry. Since November 2009, Boston artist WISPERS has been releasing a new track every week, 52 weeks, 52 songs. Dubbing it his "52 Week Campaign", WISPERS has not only been blowing his competition out of the water but his online visibility has risen to new heights.
WISPERS is a rare talent who can craft catchy hooks for radio as well as have the lyrical ability to destroy a track. Having served 5 1/2 years in prison & witnessing his brother get murdered, WISPERS has dedicated his life to escaping the streets thru his music. His life story alone captivates audiences and leaves listeners wanting more. In Fall of 09, his tracks "Lost (I'm Alright)" & "Wanted" became the top ranked songs on the nation's biggest Hip-Hop website, Hiphopdx.com.
Not content with solely building a buzz, WISPERS has been simltaneously working on an E.P. of completely original never before released music as well as mixtape. The mixtape and the E.P. will both be titled "Ain't No Plan B". "Ain't No Plan B" the mixtape will hit the streets in Mid-April of 2010 while the E.P. will drop during the Winter. R&B sensations Trey Songz and Mario have already been tabbed as guest appearances.
