MORE ABOUT THE BENEDICTIONS
The Benedictions are an Americana band from Providence. They formed in 2009, when local songwriter G.W. Mercure met guitarist Kelly Burke, bassist Rob Shot and drummer Mike Tomasso at a Low Anthem show at Firehouse 13. They will be releasing their debut full-length, The Benedictions Play Devil Music, in June, 2010.
