MORE ABOUT NEW ENGLAND SINGER SONGWRITERS
The New England Singer Songwriters was an idea that came about several years ago. The idea was to bring together a group of the areas most talented singer songwriters, solo and duo acts and put on a really great show that would feature various artists in styles ranging from traditional Dixieland to classic country and folk, to classic rock, acoustic blues and of course great original songs.
Although there are over forty members, our shows generally consist of about ten acts and run anywhere from three to four hours with each act performing anywhere from 15 to 25 minutes. We are looking for a new venue to hold a Christmas/Holiday benefit show as well as future shows. You supply the room; we’ll supply the music. Our last show raised $500.00 for Children’s Hospital and we would like to do the same for veterans and children of veterans in need and other groups in need.
Some of our artists include: the talented Nate Smith ( Bob Dylan sound alike,) Bermuda Billy Byron ( Jimmy Buffett Island style,) Mark Stepakoff-( comedy on guitar,) Barry Rosenberg (cabaret pianist,) Clayton Willoughby (traditional Dixieland phenomenon,) Jeff Root (Classic and psychedelic Rock wizard,) Jane Fallon (her talent has to be heard to be described,) GS Picard (female Acoustic Rocker,) Don and Vanessa and friends (blues with a bit of soul,) Pete Travisano and Ed Barnett (Classic sounds of Hank Williams and Johnny Cash.) Ron Victor (oldies, classic rock and originals) Greg Pospiel (originals ranging from classic country to rockabilly, blues and folk.
