MORE ABOUT SCOTTY WHITEHOUSE
Formerly named Whitehouse On Trial, Scotty Whitehouse is a Portland based live one-man band rooted in live electronica, funk, and jam with occasions of indie/alt rock. Looping in Portland ME since 2004, Scotty uses an acoustic guitar, synthesizer, mic, pedals and an RC-50 for live looping (nothing pre-recorded) to play original music, covers, and improv. By layering tracks live, his technique allows the viewer to watch the musical process unfold in an interesting manner. Scotty's blend of styles and electronic flavor makes for an unconventional approach to the growing art of "looping".
