MORE ABOUT REFLECTING SKIN
When the right vocalist joined to complete reflecting skin in 1997, the band set out to push some musical boundaries. With their heavy primal drums, serpentine bass grooves, fleet of unique guitar sounds, and vocals that range from angelically sweet to hard rock, completion of their debut CD Haley at the turn of 1999 made their music available to a world-wide audience. The band has been compared to Dead Can Dance, The Cocteau Twins, and Portishead.
New release Agony Star is available beginning Nov 16th, celebrated at TT the Bear's Place that evening. Members: Leah Chandra (vocals), Christian Gilbert (guitars, samples), Dave McFarland (drums, film loops), Alex Milne (bass, tape loops). And John DeGregorio (keys).
