welcome to the world of lorna doom - the demon creation of two friends, lee and aj, and their love of hip hop. both lee and aj have spent considerable time creating music and touring over the past several years (see The Body, Anton Bordman, Bucket Full of Teeth for details).
lorna doom is where worlds meet. yes, they are punk kids. yes, they are hip hop kids. no, this isn't an attempt to be the weird, white rap band at a punk show. no, this isn't gimmicks, costumes or faux gangster foolery. this is an attempt to take from musical pioneers, of all genres, slam them all together and spit out something authentic.
despite sonic similarities, this has more to do with def jam than def jux.
