MORE ABOUT THE LODGE

"Clever and stylistically unique...dynamically propulsive and powerful...with ample amounts of wit and charm." - TAXI, The World's Leading Independent A&R Company

The Lodge is one of Boston's most inventive and exciting bands. The songs and the sound are unique, mixing straight up rock with blues, pop, ska - all blending to make a compelling and completely original sound.

The Lodge was founded in the winter of 2001 by Ken Zimmerman on Guitar, Keys, and Vocals, Mark Ferranti on Bass, and Wright Maney on Drums.

Ferranti, one of the founders of the premiere Ska band, Bim Skala Bim, and Maney, from Rag Iron, help drive The Lodge while Zimmerman's vocals, guitar, and songwriting help give the band its modern rock-meets-classic rock sound.

In 2005, The Lodge trio set out to make an album of original music that would make musicians and music fans say - "Hey, that's some good music. You guys really rock. And the songs...Man, you sure know how to write great songs."

To help bring this album together, The Lodge enlisted the support of friends and fellow musicians like Chris Blue (Rock Bottom) on lead guitar, Vinnie Nobile (Bim Skala Bim) on trombone, and singers James Lepler, Lynette Estes, and Ad Frank - who sings on a previously unreleased (circa 1995) gem.

And with the album now complete, The Lodge is hitting the roads and clubs to promote this very cool new album.

Current “Touring” Line Up Now Includes:

Ken Zimmerman: Vocals, Guitar, Keys
Mark Ferranti: Bass
James Lepler: Vocals, Keys
John Sullivan: Drums
w/ special guests at almost every show!

…And to go along with this quirky and fun rock music, The Lodge album cover is a piece of art in and of itself. You'll definitely enjoy owning this album - and just wait until you take the CD out of the jacket—you'll be in for a surprise before you even "spin" it up!

Buy a few for the music lovers in your family.

Hope to see you on the road...
