heatsink is a new and permanent musical union comprised of timing chains, ball bearings and spare nuts, which fell off of the engine formerly known as the Boston music scene. Its members have plied their trade under such monikers as Slump, Buttercup, Hush Puppy, Pouch and Rinky Dink. Having now been cleansed by the fires of youthful enthusiasm, pitiful disillusion and abject jadedness they have been re-birthed into a new state of musical clarity in which song is the prime directive and everything else is just everything else. Committed to creating the perfect representation of their inner rock selves it can be confidently anticipated that the group will be heard from frequently on recorded formats as well as from the stage throughout the aught decade and beyond.
