MORE ABOUT EULOGY XL

Without borders, Eulogy XL blends Rock, Metal, and elements of Industrial and Electronica in a way that is both unique, yet accessible to any casual music fan. Perhaps no group does it better, blending the hard rock/ metal sound of bands like Chevelle, Faith no More, and Deftones spiced up with the cutting edge electronic instrumentation of groups like Nine Inch Nails, The Prodigy, and Linkin Park.

Originally formed as a three-piece, vocalist Phill Naylor, programmer/ guitarist Robb Webster, and drummer Mike Cusano went on to record and release their critically acclaimed self-titled EP and full length album "The Cure for Modern Civilization".

After a brief hiatus, the band reformed with an expanded lineup which now consists of five members. A second guitarist, Allen Wheeler, has been added along with full-time bass and keyboard player, Kyle Kydd. The band is currently hard at work writing new material and preparing to record their heaviest and best record to date, with a planned release for Fall of 2006.

"A fusion of frantic Bigbeat infused metal. The vocalist gasps like a young Mike Patton as the band spins through evolving arrangements of complex rythyms, thick synths, and harsh guitars." -Mark K, staff writer, Listen.com

Eulogy XL was named one of the top 25 independent bands in NorthEast America, as voted by Discmakers', a prominent national CD duplication company.

Their song "Deep" was chosen by music industry executives as one of the top 4 submissions in the alternative category in week 2 of the Ultimate Band List's (UBL.COM) "Born on the Web" contest, successfully beating out thousands of other submissions from across the globe.

Eulogy XL has received airplay on two of New England's premiere rock stations, Pixy 103 FM and WAAF 107.3 FM.

Winner of the 2006 "Haverhill Rocks! - Battle of the Bands" which took place this past summer in Haverhill, MA. Through a combination of fan voting and scoring from music industry judges, Eulogy XL beat out 26 other bands to be crowned the "Merrimack Valley's BEST ROCK BAND of 2006!"

The band recently performed at WAAF's Locobazooka! 2006 at the Tweeter Center in Mansfield, MA, drawing rave reviews for their performance, along with the biggest crowd of the day at the "Harder/Faster" stage!

Eulogy XL has played with and supported such bands as Alice in Chains, Atreyu, Powerman 5000, Buckcherry, Stuck Mojo, Wicked Wisdom, Moonspell, and Katatonia. They are now one of the most sought after supporting acts for national bands touring through the New England area.
