MORE ABOUT THE FOUNDRY
Founded in Feb of 2001 by guitarist Paul Rox in the unknown circle of Hell known as Providence, RI, The Foundry (who have gone through many names changes over the years) bring to the table something unique - their own sound based upon the fact that everyone is mostly self taught on their instrument of choice, though that does not mean the music itself is amateur nor is it by any means perfect. The Foundry's sound is mostly based upon the classic rock and hard rock greats - from Metallica to Creedence Clearwater Revival to Led Zeppelin to Alice in Chains and beyond.
Some of our songs are reminiscent of the sounds from the past, and some of our songs are a glimpse of what is the future of rock. Anthems like "Yesterday" and "Shock" are reminiscent of Metallica and Guns N' Roses, while "Dark Spark", "The Thing", and "Lazy Water" are a preview of a new horizon.
In the words of rhythm guitarist Everett, "We're not metal or from Massachusetts, but I hope you enjoy our show anyway."
