MORE ABOUT NECKTIE PARTY
Formed in August 2007, in a basement in Worcester, MA, Necktie Party consists of singers/songwriters/guitarists Tim Tucker & Kate Brissette, bassist Mike Sparks, drummer Jason Macierowski, lead guitar/slide/E-Bow-ist Carl Dupree, and rhythm guitar/banjo/tambourine extraordinaire Dan Hastings.
Influences are vast and span from Neil Young and early traditional/folk artists to Brian Jonestown Massacre and Spiritualized, to name a few.
The first album, "Restland", a 7-song EP, is due out in April 2008.
