MORE ABOUT JAY TYER QUARTET
The Jay Tyer Quartet has been together under that name for about 3 years. The group however is comprised of 4 players that have played together in various configurations for over 15 years. The quartet plays around central Massachusetts. The songs on Metacomet are original pieces. The style of the matierial is jazz. Some songs sound hard bopish, some sound like they are from the cool school. There are two latin songs in the mix as well.
