Think Shawn Colvin meets the Foo Fighters with a dash of Rilo Kiley. Jackie's honest approach to songwriting draws on a myriad of influences that give her songs huge crossover appeal. Their latest release, Waving in traffic, has won fans and critics alike with songs that blend infectious melodies with dark poetry and skeptical optimism. Jackie's soulful and melodic voice ranges from throaty and sultry to clean and uncomplicated. Illustrious Day has played clubs and festivals throughout the northeast and continue to find new avenues for their music.
