Heather Number 1 was formed on an ill-fated road trip in 1999. Karen and Stacy, finding themselves inspired from having been stuck in the car together for hours, decided that their wardrobes warranted a career in rock music.
Then they bought some instruments.
After playing one song to win a bet at a company party, they recruited long-time friend and Blue Man Group co-worker, Jenn, to play drums. Conveniently, she already owned some.
By combining clever lyrics and catchy riffs, Heather Number 1 is planning to take over the Boston rock scene...before they run out of outfits.
