There are some fine vocalists out there, more common are tight rythym sections featuring breezy, if not predictable contemporary forms. Somewhat less common are those who have managed to keep each song unique in structure, melody and content. Rarer still are performers who, while vocally & instrumentally proficient, also provide intelligent, inspired and universal lyrics that move the listener. heather caston does all of these things and does them very, very well.
