This progressive trio plays all the grasses - old, new and blue. The trio combines a renowned
veteran and two up-and-comers who pay homage to the masters while churning out fresh new
sounds. Mixing lightning-fast tempos with mournful blues and modern original tunes, their
diverse sound and stellar musicianship pack the punch of a larger group. They draw on so many
styles - old time, jazz, funk, latin, reggae, that even people whose exposure to bluegrass begins
and ends with "Oh Brother" will find something to latch on to.
Gordon Stone has spent the last 30 years establishing himself as one of the master of bluegrass
banjo. Invited to join Sam Bush, Peter Rowan, and Vassar Clements on stage last year at the
2004 Wold's True Masters of Bluegrass Jam at The Gathering of the Vibes, Gordon serves our
senses with musical grace, talent and intellect. Creating compositions that range from laid back
grooves to high energy muscial excursions. Unafraid to journey to the edge, he brings the
