Kelly Davidson's musically themed photo show
By PHOENIX STAFF | August 25, 2006
Rock stars change diapers and cook chicken fingers and spoon goopy apple sauce into toothless mouths, too. And photographer Kelly Davidson documents rockers and their kids in her second annual exhibition "Rock 'n' Roll Parents 2," which opens this Friday at 6 pm at the Art Market Gallery (36 South Street, Jamaica Plain) and runs through September 2. Last year's show featured images of Tanya Donnelly, Catie Curtis, and Dennis Brennan, and this year's exhibit includes photographs of Emily Grogan, Nell Beram of the Magnetic Fields, WFNX's Henry Santoro, and Katie and David Champagne of the Heygoods, among others. Click here to view a slideshow of Davidson's portraits from both exhibits.
