THE DISMEMBERMENT PLAN: The reunited DC quartet's Paradise show has been sold out for months.

The live music landscape in Boston's winter is a strange scene. Dominated by locals who could carry their gear to the clubs, the must-see touring act is a relative rare breed this time of year. Although the early slate of 2011 has some intriguing options (notably Ted Leo, Dismemberment Plan, Deerhoof), here's where three Phoenix musos — music editor Michael Marotta, staff writer Chris Faraone, and contributing writer Daniel Brockman — will be hanging out. You'll find them at the bar, keeping warm.
