David Gordon Green's latest finds him working in the scruffy comic realm that's shrouded his past couple of pictures in a pot-smoke haze. Thankfully, this tale of a Robitussin-addicted man-child's misadventures in babysitting hews closer to Pineapple Express than to Your Highness. Although the R-rated raunch is hampered by PG-level lessons learned, the laughs come fast enough to forgive the platitudes. When Noah Griffith (Jonah Hill), a reluctant "do-whatever-I-say-or-I'll-kill-you kind of a sitter," is offered "full-on vaginal sex" from his selfish-in-the-sack girlfriend (Boston's Ari Graynor), he packs his young wards – anxiety-prone Slater (Max Records), "celebutante"-worshipping Blithe (Landry Bender), and maladjusted adoptee Rodrigo (Kevin Hernandez) – into a minivan for a night of drugs, guns, and racial tension in New York City. It ain't PC, but with Hill's timing and Bender's Kardashian act, it's a stoner's delight.
