DRUMMER WANTED - HYANNIS Drummer Wanted, Hyannis Area (Hyannis, Mashpee, Sandwich, Falmouth) Contact rick@smartspider.com (and make sure you respond to the email from the spam filter or I will never see your email) The Leaves (presently two thirds of a musically accomplished power trio - a very good guitarist and bassist/vocalist) are looking for a solid drummer to play Cape Cod shows. Our other commitments don't allow for a heavy playing schedule - we are looking for a really good drummer who has similar other commitments and still wants to play out a bit. Our typical week is Sunday rehearsals and playing an opener set on a Monday night at an open mic club. We might play a Saturday instead... we have good equipment and professional chops - we're very tight and we want to find someone who can find the pocket and own the beat. You will need your own drum kit for some things - digital kit is a plus - but we have a kit in the rehearsal space and most of the club shows we play you'll use the house band's kit, so you might do a lot less tear down and set up in this band. We're ok with you being in another band - or having other commitments - just be there for us when we need you - we will give plenty of notice.
