The Monsters Of Folk
may be the least frightening monsters ever, but they can still make you cry. Like a Traveling Wilburys of the 21st century, the Monsters are a supergroup,
with indie-emo posterboy Conor Oberst and Mike Mogus from Bright Eyes, indie
guitar god Jim James from My Morning Jacket, and, you know, M. Ward. Formed in
2004, they didn't cut their first album till last month, and they just started
touring with their own songs, so don't miss this chance to catch the four of
them sharing the same stage, and having a good time doing it.
