Boston Symphony Orchestra conducted by Rafael Frühbeck De Burgos - Beethoven Symphonies I

This was supposed to be the
day that James Levine and the Boston
Symphony Orchestra began their season-long traversal of the Beethoven
symphonies, but Jimmy is still recovering from surgery to repair a herniated
spinal disc earlier this month, so guest conductor Rafael Frühbeck De Burgos will take the podium for Nos. 1, 2, and 5
at Symphony Hall, 301 Mass Ave, Boston | October 22 + 24 @ 8 pm; October 23 @
