Sanders Theatre
Fact: hamsters recover from jet lag more quickly

Ig Nobel Prizes are
back for their 19th year, the annual award ceremony for unorthodox research
that “makes you laugh, then makes you think.” This year’s theme is “Risk.” Last
year, we learned that strippers make more money at peak fertility (economics)
and dog fleas jump higher than cat fleas (biology), and the Swiss won for
adopting the legal principle that plants have dignity (peace). The ceremony is
preceded by a Cabaret Concert and includes a Win-a-Date-with-a-Nobel-Laureate
Contest, all at Harvard’s Sanders Theatre, 45 Quincy St, Cambridge | 7:30 pm |
$31-$39 |
