One long-time Boston graf insider relates to their elation: “Without guys like SPEK in their custody, the cops act like toys who get mad because nobody has ever seen their tag. We have the same idiosyncrasies as these cops — we all want a little bit of fame. I said this when they got CAYPE: for them to lock him up is like one of us getting a piece up on the CITGO sign.”
