The Lowdown
Jazz club with two floors. Bands play live jazz, blues, and world-beat music in a street-level room that has a bigger stage. Every Friday, Ryles hosts “Viernes de Vacilon Latin Dance Party,” an 18+ reggae and salsa night requiring tasteful attire and a $5 cover before 11 ($10 after). “Supershag” is an 18+ salsa/swing lessons every Sat at 9:15 pm. Every Sun from 10 am-3 pm, Ryles presents a free Jazz Brunch. Later, enjoy salsa lessons and a dinner buffet from 6-11 pm for $10. Every Tues at 8:30 pm, see performances by up to three emerging bands from the New England area for $7. All other concerts are $10 and begin at 9 pm, unless otherwise noted.
