If Yelawolf, was your average whiteboy a year ago, then the Alabama-bred rap honky stepped up to the proverbial next level last month, when Caucasian kingpin Eminem tapped him as the newest member of the Shady family. Despite major-label status, Yela has yet to let us down, still kicking the same power drawl that first sparked the bidding war over him. For what it’s worth, homeboy is also an animated live performer with the type of anthems that get young men hollering and women wet.
