The big picture in a nutshell . . .With Mars retrograding in your sign, you actually have more time than you thought you did to make decisions, take risks, jump off the high board, or otherwise assert yourself. From fall through February is basically a “molting” period for crabs, so if you want to be alone in a dark place you are absolutely right. Those born from the start of the sign through July 2 could have the spotlight on them. The happy news is that Venus in Scorpio is making you look really good (emotionally available in a GOOD way)

Frankly, those days could be both difficult AND smooth. But the rule of thumb is that you should view the days the moon is in your sun sign as commencing a new 28 day cycle. Chances are, you’ll be unexpectedly emotional – either looking for a grievance, or seeing a situation more dramatically than circumstances warrant. The days when the moon is in the same sign as your sun is when you feel everything, truly, madly, deeply.

If you've felt “stuck in a rut,” during the past year (at least emotionally, if not literally), this coming year brings myriad opportunities to interact with people from different cultures and backgrounds. You may be an earth sign (craving predictability), but changeableness is part of Virgo's personality, and you may have had a couple of jobs this past year that went absolutely nowhere. The longterm project, which I've been writing about since the autumn, is that Saturn has moved into your sun sign. This will bring major, tumultuous change to your life that unfolds over the next two years. The end result will be more responsibility, and you'll be playing for greater stakes every step of the way. Those of you born at the very end of August will feel this most. But don't freak out – Saturn in your sun sign means you crave responsibility and opportunities and you will MAKE them if the world doesn't hand them to you. Virgo does NOT do things the simple way and what you'll learn from now through 2010  (good lord)  will last you the rest of your life, no joke. The big picture in a nutshell . . .Libra's chronic diplomatic impulses have been coming a cropper for the past couple of months. The inadvertent passive-aggressive comment, the slightly-negative impulse immediately countered with the, “I'm-sorry-what-I-meant-to-say-was-I'm-sorry-what-was-the-question?” Those of you born before October 2 will definitely reverse yourselves (more than once?) and it is not the time to make blanket statements or think you'll feel the same way the next day (e.g., that “will you still love me tomorrow” thing you've gotten from would-be lovers). So the good stuff? Um, Jupiter in Capricorn will help out those born in 1949, 1961, 1973, and 1984. Otherwise, this could be a 12 month period where (some of) you sell yourselves short. Don't do that. Those most in danger this month are those cuspy Libra/Virgo types.
