Liberty Elm Diner

It didn't take long. Since overhauling the originally decrepit facility, Carol DeFeciani has put together one of the coolest neighborhood spots around, a place to enjoy all sorts of breakfast and lunch fare. The 1947 structure is buff these days, and the good food (definitely try the Tex-Mex migas and the grilled Fluffer Nutter with banana) and cozy vibe has had many people from outside the 'hood arriving for weekend meals. Maybe they're just looking for a Johnny Cake fix.
