I guess some of the eateries in Newport sit right on the wharf, but the venerable CGH certainly fits the "on the water" criteria: through the years, its wall of windows has occasionally been ruptured by pounding surf. Those who dine inside couldn't be closer to the rocky shore and lapping waves. Those who partake of the upstairs deck in the warmer climes have a seagull's-eye-view of the mighty Narra-gansett Bay. Have one of those chorizo-flecked stuffies — you deserve it.
