The East Bay is awash in gorgeous greeneries but, boy, is that jut of land across from Bristol's downtown area purdy or what? You can head to the shore to catch a breeze, or keep the frolic inland and soak up the meadow vibe. Colt State Park lends itself to all sorts of family outings — picnics over here, ultimate Frisbee games over there, kids zooming by on bikes in between.
