Rhode Island Community Food Bank

Andrew-Schiff_RIFoodBank-48

It's so elemental: People need to eat. The stats on how many locals go without their suggested daily nourishment are demoralizing. But the CFB teams work initiatives such as the Pantry Express, which brings food directly to hard hit neighborhoods, and Kids Café, which serves evening meals to school populations. They advocate for change as they go, and work like heck to right this ongoing embarrassment. And as if we need to remind you, they do accept tax-deductable donations with a smile. | 200 Niantic Ave, Providence | 401.942.6325 | rifoodbank.org
