We know a handful of people who believe that the magnificence of the famed design school's museum is key to making Providence such an enticing place to live. One thing you can't deny: the curators are inventive with their programming. From ancient art to contemporary pieces, there's always a new slant being scrutinized. And the way they've made the place family-friendly (crucial now that schools are losing their arts loot) is essential as well. Well done, RISD.
