Andrew’s Bistro
An after-dinner drink or a dessert? Why not both in one champagne glass? The Flute Limoncello at ANDREW’S BISTRO swirls the ever popular tart-sweet cordial into lemon sorbet for a best-of-both-worlds combination. They do offer high-octane final touches, such as port, orange muscat, and ice wine, but there are 10 desserts, most of them made there, that are worth your attention. Sincerity is signaled by the classic crème brûlée, the rich custard not sullied with an eye-catching but taste bud-distracting extra flavor. The cannoli are filled at the table, the ricotta and mascarpone zipped up with a touch of citrus zest. The profiteroles, three of them, are filled with vanilla ice cream and drizzled with chocolate sauce. Needless to say, there is main-event chocolate, both a warm lava cake and one with chocolate cream, ganache, and chocolate flakes.
