BROWN UNIVERSITY/TRINITY REP MFA PROGRAM

The BROWN UNIVERSITY/TRINITY REP MFA PROGRAM is the training camp for Trinity Repertory Company, where knowledgeable theatergoers follow the progress of talented work-in-progress actors and directors. Present company members that came up via the Trinity Rep Conservatory, its predecessor, are Anne Scurria, Fred Sullivan Jr., and Mauro Hantman. Performances are quite a bargain, only $10 a ticket. The MFA program isn’t a place to play it safe, so you can see these theater professionals really spread their wings — and rest assured that there’s a lot more soaring than plummeting going on. If you missed The Duchess of Malfi in March, you can still catch Chekhov’s Uncle Vanya (April 21-30).
