THE 201 quickly established itself as a vital venue within the local music community, hosting shows of all genres. It’s a cozy and unassuming spot previously occupied by Club Remy’s. Blacked-out windows and a sleek interior leads to a modest bar carrying a handful of quality craft beers on tap (and two pool tables), and a small dance floor shares the back corner with a stage that has hosted plenty of packed lo-dough shows (usually $5), from the bluesy, guitar twang of Joe Fletcher’s Wrong Reasons to electro-rock newcomers the Inclined.
