Roger Williams Paddle Trail

Who says summer city life has to be all about steaming sidewalks and honking horns? Not only does Providence have Roger Williams Park, it also has the ROGER WILLIAMS PADDLE TRAIL. It goes nowhere near the bucolic splendor of the park — it winds from the itty-bitty (but verdant) Freedom Green Park in East Providence through the gritty charms of the downtown Providence waterways.
