What is it about sharing a dramatic sunset view? When it comes to the romance of it, presumably the operative word is “sharing,” but the sheer spectacle of the sight certainly doesn’t hurt the Blakean eternity-in-an-hour aspect. At Richmond Square, when the sun is going down, the view at WATERMAN GRILLE, overlooking the Seekonk River, tends to distract from whatever’s on your plate. They should provide tongs instead of forks at those times, so we don’t have to look down as much. When the light is less dramatic, there still tend to be crews sculling when it’s decent outside and gulls wheeling above the river in all but the worst weather. Inside the restaurant, you are reminded of the outside by nautical maps and photographs of sailboats. Just don’t forget to gaze across the table once in a while.
